Dr. Agata Debowska is a Lecturer in Psychology at the University of Sheffield. Her current research interests and publications focus predominantly on child abuse and neglect, gender-based violence, psychopathy, criminal social identity, and prisonisation. Agata has published extensively and presented her research findings at international public lectures and conferences. She is an associate editor of Frontiers in Forensic and Legal Psychology, and a reviewer for a number of academic, peer-reviewed journals. She is also an Associate Member of the Quantitative Research Methods Training Unit (QRM-TU). Agata’s research has been supported by UK Research Councils and local institutions. As a Co-Investigator with the Ni3 Research Centre, she will take lead responsibility for establishing the Policy Hub – a central platform for knowledge sharing on policy formulation for the prevention of violence against women and children. Additionally, Agata will oversee the evaluation of project deliverables in each study country led by Implementation Scientist Professor Melanie Barwick.
