Rukmini Banerjee is a Research Fellow at None In Three Research Centre, India . She completed her MPhil degree from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai, from the Advanced Centre of Women’s Studies. She received her Masters degree from SOAS, University of London in South Asian Area Studies. Her work has been around community-centred development and transdisciplinary approaches to research. She has been a part of the LGBTQ movement in India for more than five years and has worked in a collaborative research project with University of Brighton, UK, on social inclusion possibilities and exclusion policies for sexually marginalised persons. Her research interests include transnational collaborations and transdisciplinary approaches in research, academic and activist collaborations, gender and its relationship to technology, sexuality rights movements, mental health discourse and policies, and ethics of reading and writing.
