Milena Kanashiro has been an Associate Professor at Londrina State University since 1998 in Urban Planning and Design at the Architecture and Urbanism Department of the Centre of Technology and Urbanism. She holds a doctorate in Environmental and Development from Paraná Federal University. Since 2012, she has been a permanent advisor for Masters and Doctoral students on the Architecture and Urbanism Associated Program (PPU UEM/UEL). Her research focus is on healthy and sustainable cities, with background research in vulnerable areas of Brazil.
