Dr. Silvia Regina de Souza has been employed at the Universidade Estadual de Londrina since 1999 and is presently an Associate Professor in General Psychology and Behavior Analysis, Department of Centre of Biological Sciences. She has an MSc in Special Education from Universidade Federal de São Carlos (UFScar), a PhD in Clinical Psychology from Universidade de São Paulo (USP) and a Postdoctorate in Experimental Psychology from USP.
Dr. Silvia is also a permanent adviser for masters and doctoral students on the Behavior Analysis Postgraduation Program, a position she has held since since 2005. This course has a verified course sequence, approved by the Association for Behavior Analysis International, for those who want to apply for a Behavior Analyst Certification.
As an academic, her research interests lie in experimental and applied studies on learning processes and proposition of teaching strategies (educational games). She is a member of the Brazilian Psychological Society (SBP) and a member of the Association for Behavior Analysis International (ABAI).
