UK Policy Forum Held on International Women’s Day
On Monday 8th March (International Women’s Day) our team in the UK hosted an online policy forum, disseminating findings from three-and-a-half years of research into women’s experience of Intimate Partner Violence in the UK. This was an opportunity to share our latest findings and to challenge and change current policy and thinking in this area.
The forum was a free, invite-only event for senior leaders within the police, social services and health & education sectors. We were also delighted to welcome policy makers, safeguarding leads and MPs to the event.
You can read more about the event on the University of Huddersfield news page. We will be adding some of the materials from the event to our UK Resources Page in the coming weeks, so please check back regularly.
