Elder Abuse Prevention Resources Added
We have recently updated the section on elder abuse on our Barbados & Grenada pages with a link to an excellent new resource which has been created by Dr Jessica Thomas from ‘Sixty and Me‘.
This resource includes signs of elder abuse to look out for, an overview of forms of abuse, and practical steps that can be taken by friends, family members and professionals to protect vulnerable older people in their communities.
This is an important and all too often overlooked issue, and we welcome this practical, useful advice from Dr Thomas on addressing this problem.
